Vulcan Flex Circuit
Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of Vulcan Electric Company has acquired
and put into service a Polar Controlled Impedance Test System. The Polar
CITS800 tester and associated software is a TDR (time domain reflectometer)
style tester which will allow Vulcan to measure and verify characteristic and
differential impedance values designed into advanced flex circuit and rigid-flex
circuit boards. This new testing capability is a part of Vulcan’s continuous
technology improvement program and will support the diverse requirements of the
company’s broad customer base.
